Calcium

Calcium is an essential mineral that is absolutely critical to maintain neuronal electro-potential. It is found in milk, kale, sardines, yogurt, dairy products, broccoli, as well as the calcium-enriched citrus juices, mineral water, and canned fish with bones.

Calcium is used for treatment and prevention of low calcium levels and resulting bone conditions including osteoporosis, premenstrual syndrome (PMS), leg cramps, high blood pressure in pregnancy (pre-eclampsia), and reducing the risk of colon and rectal cancers. Calcium carbonate is used as an antacid for “heartburn.”
